About Us | Walk like Chinmay

Our beautiful son Chinmay, left us at the young age of 8 after bravely battling cancer for years. To celebrate his life we organize this walkathon every year & raise funds for Ronald McDonald house for children.

Chinmay wanted to do big things - be the tallest person in the world, visit every state in the USA and all the countries in the world, live for 120 years... Walking 5.5 miles was one of those wishes. So here we are to walking the walkathon with our community to celebrate the beautiful life of our warrior son, on his heavenly birthday.

Ronald McDonald House Charities

Childhood cancer needs treatment for many months. Like us, families often travel long distances and stay in Ronald McDonald Houses, where they can focus on caring for their precious children as they battle this disease. Families get lodging and meals, and there is no obligation to pay. Last year, we raised USD 5,000 to adopt a room for a year. This room benefitted multiple families. Our goal this year is to raise USD 25,000 to adopt a long-term suite in Ronald McDonald House to support families battling life-threatening diseases.
